1. Previous Life

Guru Mauli was born, in Alibaugh, on 28th July 1958. According to the Hindu calendar, she born on Adhik Shravan Shudhh Trayodashi, Param Chaturdashi. It is said that a person born on “Sandhikal” i.e. the time between the finishing of one day and the starting of other shall become a Great Person.

She hails from Mirashi family of Alibaugh. Her forefathers were honoured with the title “Pandit”. She born to Smt. Shakuntala Pandit and Shri Neelkanth Pandit.

Stories from Hindu mythology learnt from grandmother, Late Smt. Indirabai Pandit, contributed immensely in her personality development during childhood.

She has done her M.Sc. in Pure mathematics from Mumbai University in flying colours at the age of 22 and was awarded scholarship by the Center of Advanced study in Mathematics. Although she was offered Fellowship by the University for continuing her PhD, she discontinued her studies and took the Lecturer job in Mathematics at Deorukh College.

Her quest for education was not yet fulfilled and she joined SIWS College Wadala, where she was offered lectureship while continuing further studies in Msc - Applied Mathematics. During this course she specializedin mechanics, mathematical logic. She continued her quest by completing her M phill in Mathematics; while she was heading the Department of Mathematics.

During the course of her M.Sc and M. Phill, she served as the program officer for the National Service Scheme and National adult education. She was also in charge of Gymkhana.

With the world fully occupied with these activities, she tied holy knot with Shri Dipak Ballal on 15th May 1983 (Akshaya Tritiya). Shri Dipak Ballal is descendent of Sh. Khando Ballal, one of the ministers in Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s court.

During the period she gave birth to two sons (Ch. Tushar and Ch. Mandar). In 1986, she resigned from her job to give priority to homely responsibilities.

Both children started going to school. The very nature did not allow her to be idle while both children were in the school. She started her business, supply of spices, by employing few needy women.

2. DISCIPLESHIP

The turning point in the life of Gurumauli came on 28th September 1988 (Ashwin Krishna Chaturthi Shake 1910), when HH Dattatreya Maharaj placed his holy feet in her house at the invitation of her husband and mother in law (Mrs. Pramila Ballal); who were the disciples of HH Dattatreya Maharaj.

She was initially reluctant to accept teachings of HH Dattatreya Maharaj, being a rationalist and a Mathematics & logic student. She quizzed HH Dattatreya Maharaj on each and every aspect of theology and theosophy. After the quizzing and receiving the satisfactory answers, her whole thinking changed and she was totally convinced of HH Dattatreya Maharaj’s teachings. Her sharp brain and resoluteness helped her to grasp his teachings even after his Nirvan.

She adorned the Gurupad on 6th December 1994 (Margshirsh Shudhh Chaturthi Shake 1915).
She used to deliver lectures thrice a day and sing Bhajans. In addition to these activities, she used to guide the disciples who were not able to join the lectures due to their busy schedule.

3. SIMPLE HOUSEWIFE TO THE SADGURU

Gurumauli was working silently. She was unknown till 1994. As SADGURU, she used to gather people, arrange spiritual talks of elderly Sadhakas. Besides, she also used to give spiritual talks every day. She visited many holy places like Mahur, Indore, Pune, Yeotmal, etc. Through these visits and spiritual dialogues with other peoples, she decided to work only for her SADGURU, by disseminating knowledge to larger mass.

To accomplish the task Shri SADGURU Samarth Dattatreya Guru Dnyan Mandir, Gorai was established in 1996. The great occasion was celebrated by arranging Utsav from 16th September 1996 to 21st September 1996 (Bhadrapad Krishna Saptami to Indira Ekadashi Shake 1916)

The thousands of Gurumauli’s disciples are from all sections of society as She preaches in everybody’s own language like Marathi, English, Hindi and Gujarati. Her disciples are from various sections like Hindu Muslims, Christians.

Being a lecturer, Gurumauli practically teaches how to devote every moment for GOD while we enjoy our life. The theory and practice of the teachings are regularly preached by Gurumauli. All kinds of mal-practices in the soul are targeted by Gurumauli. She creates and cultivates real love, motivates activeness, bravery, boldness, bewareness in the heart of each and every disciple.

Varieties of resources are used by Gurumauli to accomplish the cause like daily lectures, occasional festivals, periodicals and books.

Each occasional festival organized in temple are like personality development program for every individual disciple.

Some of the developed disciples deliver lectures under the guidance of Gurumauli. These disciples learn themselves while teaching to other co-disciples.
